The initial dwelling, a somber Victorian single-story structure with two bedrooms, underwent a transformative evolution. The first phase introduced an expansive 10x6 meter volume housing an open kitchen and living room that seamlessly unfolds onto the rear courtyard.

A defining feature of this stage is the gracefully curved northern skylight, spanning the entire length of the rear addition. This architectural element not only facilitates cross ventilation but bathes the interior in natural light throughout the day, creating a luminous and inviting atmosphere.

The second phase elevated the design with an additional level, now accommodating a study, bedroom, and bathroom. This thoughtful progression not only expanded the functional aspects of the house but also introduced a multi-dimensional living space that harmoniously blends modern design with the original Victorian character.
